Beyond being a parent to three children in Bangor Schools, my life's purpose has revolved around cultivating inclusive opportunities within schools and communities. With two decades of experience, I've spearheaded the creation of equitable social and learning initiatives, facilitated workshops on acceptance and belonging, and developed diverse learning styles for youth and adults nationwide. Now, I'm eager to channel this leadership towards fostering positive change in Bangor's educational landscape.

 

Embracing Bangor's strong reputation was a major reason I chose to raise my own children here. I have full faith in our faculty and staff to educate and nurture all our students. Yet, I see untapped potential for growth and eagerly seek ways to enhance our methods. I'm passionate about disrupting the status quo because growth requires challenging tradition. I'm committed to introducing innovative strategies that foster inclusivity, acceptance, and enrich students' experiences. My School Committee approach is rooted in curiosity, a learner's perspective, and practical teaching experience.
